Our Green Mission

In 2021, Intelsius partnered with Climate Partner to measure the carbon footprint of our York, UK headquarters, helping us better understand our environmental impact and identify areas for improvement. This report established an important baseline for our sustainability journey, allowing us to track progress as we continue to reduce emissions and improve operational efficiency. As part of our long-term commitment to Net Zero, we are now working towards rolling out carbon footprint assessments across our global sites, with updated baseline reports planned in the near future to support ongoing transparency and measurable environmental progress.

Intelsius continues to invest in sustainable products and services that help reduce environmental impact across the cold chain industry. Our GreenTherm packaging range is 100% recyclable and manufactured using more than 70% recycled materials, providing an environmentally responsible alternative without compromising performance. We also offer ORCA Multi-Use solutions, designed for repeated use over a five-year lifespan to significantly reduce the waste associated with single-use packaging. In addition, our ORCA Rental service gives customers flexible access to ORCA products only when needed, helping to minimise unnecessary stock holding, improve operational efficiency, and further reduce packaging waste across the supply chain.

As an official Corporate Charity Partner of ORCA, Intelsius is proud to support the protection of whales, dolphins, and marine ecosystems around the world. Through our ongoing partnership, we make annual donations to help fund ORCA’s vital conservation and research work, contributing to the long-term health of our oceans and the wildlife that depends on them. This partnership reflects our wider commitment to environmental responsibility and supporting initiatives that create a positive and lasting global impact.
