SmartHub and SmartLock loggers are intelligent gateway devices that automatically collect temperature and environmental data from TempBeacons and securely transmit it to cloud software such as ORCA Cloud, enabling real-time monitoring and compliance across pharmaceutical storage and transport.
SmartHub is a stationary or vehicle-mounted gateway device designed primarily for data aggregation and communication. SmartLock, in contrast, combines data logging with physical shipment security. It functions as a smart electronic seal for containers, trucks, or pallets, while also receiving data from TempBeacons.

SmartTag

The SmartTag is a stand-alone real-time tracking data logger used primarily for individual shipment monitoring, rather than acting as a gateway for other sensors. It directly measures environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, shock, light, and location, and transmits the data via cellular networks (e.g., LTE/5G) to cloud platforms such as ORCA Cloud for live visibility during transport. Unlike SmartHub or SmartLock, which collect data from nearby TempBeacons, the SmartTag itself is the primary measurement and tracking device attached to a shipment, providing real-time monitoring without requiring additional beacon sensors

Tempsen’s ITAG4, Tempod 30, Tempod 90, and Tempod 100X temperature loggers are designed to cover a spectrum of cold chain monitoring needs, from routine shipments to ultra-low temperature applications.
The ITAG4 is a cost-effective, single-use logger suited to standard ambient or refrigerated transport, while the Tempod 30 offers similar measurement capability in a reusable format for repeated operations. For more demanding environments, the Tempod 90 extends the temperature range down to dry ice conditions, making it appropriate for shipments around −80°C. At the high-performance end, the Tempod 100X incorporates an external probe and supports temperatures as low as −100°C, enabling precise monitoring of sensitive products such as biologics and deep-frozen pharmaceuticals.
