Intelsius Germany GmbH sponsored the latest meeting of the environmental cleanup initiative Cleanup Group Darmstadt. This community-led movement involves volunteers gathering every Sunday at a designated location to pick up litter from public areas like streets and parks. Intelsius Business Development Manager Jens Bichler was involved in the latest meeting and has officially joined the group.
Meeting locations vary every week, with volunteers covering areas such as Eberstadt South, Marienhöhe, Oberfeld, old B26, Kranichstein South, Kranichstein train station, Arheilgen train station, and Heimstättensiedlung.
The latest gathering was sponsored by Intelsius and was led by volunteer Melanie Kirth. Jens was on the ground with the clean-up group, who collectively gathered more than 15 bags of litter from the surrounding area. Jens commented on being part of the Cleanup initiative, saying:
I am proud to be part of a movement that contributes, however small, to bettering our environment. At Intelsius, we believe sustainability is more than just a buzzword. Sustainability is about actions that can make a real difference to our planet.
Intelsius are proud to contribute to environmental protection efforts and has committed to making the Cleanup Darmstadt initiative an ongoing annual event. We believe sustainability needs to be more than just a buzzword and are committed to making practical efforts to protect and preserve our environment.
