Intelsius BrochureIntelsius, a DGP company, a designer, manufacturer, and distributor of temperature-controlled packaging solutions, based in York, UK, is delighted to announce that international freight forwarding company, Cavalier Logistics, is its first North American Intelsius Qualified Partner (IQP).
Cavalier Logistics is a founding company and part of the Pharmaceutical Logistics Network (PLN) – a global professional association of specialist freight forwarders whose capability, resources, and infrastructure are in place to meet the most demanding needs of the pharmaceutical industry.
With the constant pressure in the temperature-controlled distribution supply chain to improve cost and maintain integrity while protecting the importance of the product payload, the goal of reducing distribution costs has coincided with stronger regulations to ensure patient safety.
IQP certification enables customers to significantly cut distribution costs by creating a robust, reliable, and cost-effective global delivery solution for the cold chain network. “Utilising gold standards such as IQP accreditation means that we will be able to offer a truly unique biopharma global delivery solution,” said Steve Winyard, Director of Commercial Operations, Cavalier. “Partnering with a forward-thinking company like Intelsius, who shares our vision of providing game-changing solutions to the cold chain sector, demonstrates our commitment to providing customers with the best support and service. Once IQP accreditation is gained, companies are trained to use, condition, and refurbish the ORCA to maximize performance, packaging, and cost. Furthermore, all IQP ORCA products will undergo an Annual ORCA Maintenance Service.
