In her fifth year with Intelsius, we asked Tammy Moran, our US office Customer Service Manager, about her role.

  1. What are your day-to-day responsibilities?

As the Customer Service Manager for the US office, I act as a primary customer resource for calls, emails, and web store inquiries.

  1. What skills/experience do you bring to Intelsius from your previous roles?

As the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) states, “Public relations is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.”

I try to utilize those skills internally with our customers.

  1. What is the favorite part of your role?

Intelsius is a worldwide supplier, and I enjoy interacting with people from all over the world daily. In terms of our recent achievements, we experienced a 30% increase in revenue in the last fiscal year, which points to the success of the entire US team.

  1. Can you identify any observations from your time at Intelsius?

Our customer’s needs are so varied from one inquiry to the next. I like to build relationships with our customers and find out what they’re shipping and any specific needs they may have. For example, one of our clients in the US, a large real estate company, offers a unique service as an insurance benefit. When this company has a new mother traveling for business, we provide the packaging to send her expressed breast milk back home to her baby while she’s away. We recently had a repeat customer now with her second baby!

  1. What projects are you currently working on?

I received an inquiry from a courier who asked for pricing on 25 PharmaTherm Pallet shippers going to South Korea. That would be an excellent sale!

  1. What are your objectives for the rest of the year?

To provide the best service experience for our customers and increase revenue again as a result.
